The Colorado River

One of the largest geophysical structures in the United States is the Colorado River. There is a long history in human activity and interaction with this large river. Resources supplied by rivers were used by humans and caused conflicts between humans. One of the conflicts is the distribution of water. And it affects this distribution throughout the southwest. Major cities such as Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, and other communities in the Southwest depend on the river.

One story related to the crisis we are widely reporting is the effort to complement the Colorado River Delta. Because the two countries are carrying water to the farmlands and cities across the Colorado River, this vulnerable ecosystem at the border between the United States and Mexico is depleted. This very important river - serving 36 million people - is cutting the river off the sea and crashing in the delta. Over the past five years in the past seven years, snow cover on the Colorado River on March 1 was lower than the long-term average. About 20 years have passed since the Colorado River - a huge reservoir of Powell Lake and Mead Lake, about 40 million people and 5 million acres of farmland are being supplied. Currently its capacity is 55% and 41%, respectively, and most of the Colorado River basin is currently in a serious or extreme drought, the water level of these lakes will not rise so much.

The Colorado River is one of the state's largest river basins located on the elevation of Rocky Mountain National Park, heading west toward areas such as the Great Lakes and Kremlin. There are tributaries and rivers famous worldwide in the catchment area, and it is indispensable for fishery, white water and agricultural irrigation. Other rivers that make up the Colorado Basin include Animas, San Juan, Blue, Dolores, Eagle, Gunnison, Rolling Fork, Yampa River. On the interstate freeway in the Mexican Gulf of Mexico, each river flows into the larger (or trunk) Colorado River.
