The cold war

In 1945, during the Second World War most of the world was further damaged and World War II destroyed the world for 6 years. Despite the large loss, it seems that only the United States of America and the Soviet Socialist Republic Alliance (also known as the Soviet Union) are in a stable economic situation. Both countries are thought to be the big winner of the war, the beginning of the conflict between the two superpowers, and the beginning of two different ideologies, the conflict between communism and capitalism.

If you do not know yet, the Cold War is a period of fierce competition between the United States and the Soviet Union. The Cold War lasted from the end of the Second World War in 1945 until the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. The Cold War was not a real war with people, guns, tanks, fighters, but a fierce war. President Reagan of the two superpowers in the world thinks that the United States needs to have strong military power. He thinks he is willing to negotiate with the Soviets (he does), but he wants to negotiate from a strong position. In 1983, Reagan proposed a missile defense system called Strategic Defense Program (SDI). Basically this is a missile defense system, laser and other state-of-the-art technology can offset future missiles. This project relied on technologies that were not yet available, but this project aroused the fear of the Soviet Union and gave the US an advantage in negotiations. The project has never been fully deployed

With the advent of the Cold War in 1945 and the spread of nuclear weapons technology to the Soviet Union, the possibility of World War III became more rational. During the Cold War, military authorities in many countries forecasted and planned the possibility of World War III. The scene ranges from regular warfare to limited or comprehensive nuclear warfare. In the middle of the Cold War, a scenario called Mutual Violence ("MAD") has been calculated that determines that a complete nuclear crash reliably destroys almost all of the human life on Earth. The possibility of human absolute destruction may help the leaders of the US and the Soviet Union avoid this situation.
