The Cold War Era

It was said that the works of the Cold War era were lacking in the late 1940 's and the mid - 1980' s, American society saw that society might have the greatest technical influence. In this era, the Cold War is an era of fear of attacks, aggression, and the need to use American society. It brought about the development of space technology correctly seen as arms race competition in space technology, communication system and military technology. A big change occurred in social technology on October 4, 1957 [1].

In order to provide a historical overview, we divide the international security environment into three time frames: (1) the Cold War era (bipolar era), (2) the post-Cold War era (monopolar hegemony of the United States) And (3) New era of international security (plural) extreme world). From the current US panorama and the near future, the international security environment will be affected by changes in military strength. As a result, the various conflicts experienced by the United States are now recurring in various ways. In order to solve this dynamic world, I studied the role and task of JSDF, and the future issues of the Japan-US alliance.

In the post-Cold War era, military measures became less important in national security equations due to the decline of the possibility of war between the great powers and the emergence of non-traditional security challenges. Nevertheless, the United States still relies heavily on military means to maintain its superior military strength, strengthen its security alliance and maintain its state of the art deployment. Surprisingly, the US used force more frequently than during the Cold War.

Along with the beginning of the Cold War arms race in the 1950s, the apocalyptic war between the US and the Soviet Union became a reality. During the Cold War (1947 - 1991), several military incidents were said to be very close to causing the Third World War. The Korean War was a war between the Communist alliance including the two Union, North Korea, China, and the Soviet Union, who tried to rule the Korean Peninsula, and the capitalist alliance including South Korea, the United States, and the United Nations. Many people believe that this conflict may soon expand to a full-blown war between the three countries, the US, the Soviet Union and China.
