The Classical Sonata Form

The classical sonata form began in the classical era and the sonata form was the foundation of most instrument music. The sonata form became a clear structure of the movement of the first instrumental work. This form consists of three parts: exhibition, development and reproduction. As a sign of this situation, the word "sonata" is sometimes attached to the name of the form, especially in the case of the "sonata - Rondo" form. In particular, slow motion is thought to be similar to the sonata - soprano format, but the grammar is different, development is not much emphasized.
