The Civil Rights Movement

The 1950s, 1960s and 1970s was an era of American society's turmoil. Roles are always redefined. Events like war caused a dramatic change in the lives of many people. The same can be said for black Americans. There is no social movement that has a big influence on the lives of black Americans as much as the civil rights movement. The status of black Americans will be redefined as a revolutionary degree. Civil rights leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, Malcolm X etc. will push the cause to the domestic stage.

The words themselves were even created during the civil rights movement. Yes, the civil rights movement is about Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, Brown, and the Board of Education.
