Prior to the 1964 Civil Rights Act, many southern and bordering countries generally practiced the separation of the United States. This separation should be the same even if it is separated, but it is not the case. Southern blacks have been discriminated many times and the law does not take any measures to protect their individual rights. The civil rights law in 1964 liberated the country from this legal isolation and paved the way for equality and integration. The relationship between blacks and whites has changed completely as a result of the bill, but it is still one of the biggest political struggles in history.
The important law covered in this discussion is the civil rights law of 1964 and the law of the American disabled. We can not discuss the 1964 civil rights law which is independent of the society and law that existed before the introduction of the United States. Prior to the Civil War, the colored people became lower than the contemporaries of white by the intention of government slavery, so it was not necessary to summarize discriminatory practices (Urofsky). Society does not doubt that African Americans are inherently inequality. Interestingly, after the slave was released in the south, there were practically very few institutionalized laws of some form of apartheid (Urofsky). For example, Texas law requires that at least one car in the train be designated as a color person, while the public education system established in the south is almost completely integrated .
I found that 1964 and 1965 are the most important two years of the civil rights movement. The 1964 Civil Rights Act officially prohibits racial (and sexual) discrimination in the United States. The establishment of the "Voting Rights Act" in 1965 banned the literacy test at the polling place. These two laws are thought to be a breakthrough event of the civil rights movement and a great achievement. However, the momentum of the civil rights movement began to shake in 1966. The division within the movement brought the emergence of two new advocacy groups, black power movement and black panther. Both proved to be radical and extreme than non-violent approaches of the civil rights movement
