The City of Savannah:

James Edward Oglethorpe was born in London in 1696. He is a highly educated person born in a wealthy family. He is a member of the British Parliament and care for others. Since he wanted to help people in need, he proposed to the King George II that he should establish a new colony for those in the prison of the debtor. In colonies, colonialists try to cancel the money they borrow. After King George II, they called it Georgia.

These three things are the three main reasons George II and James Oglethorpe wish / needs to make Georgia's thirteenth colony.

As the first plan city in the United States, Town Square is the starting point for finding activities in Savannah Georgia. It is also known as the best walking city in the United States. Founded in 1733 by General James Oglethorpe of England, Savannah is based on the square grid system of 24 towns. All houses and public buildings are arranged in this way. Today there are 21 of the original 24 town square.
