In chaos theory, there is what is called a butterfly effect. It comes from the theorist's idea that the pattern and shape of the large tornado wind may be influenced by small things like wings fluttering several days or weeks ago. In other words, this idea explores the potentially huge abstract effect of actions that may seem small or totally irrelevant.
