The Changes of Womanhood in Marge Piercy‘s “The Secretary Chant”

Marge Piercy's "Chant Chant" starts poetry by expressing various parts of her body as office supplies. In the first line, she said, "My butt is a table." In the second and third line, she said, "Please hang from my ear and paper chain" (2) On the fourth line she says "the rubber band is shaping my hair" (3) I think that Pearcy 's goal is to start with poetry like this and to help the speaker emphasize that she quickly disappoints in her work. Also, comparing the body part of the speaker with the office supplies, I think that you can feel that the speaker has an ironic shape, but this reluctantly that her work is part of her life I explain.
