At first glance, evangelist and liberation theologist seems to be different. American Evangelicals have a conservative and Republican thought on average, and historically they are middle-aged Caucasian southern people derived from the fundamentalist Protestantism tradition. On the other hand, liberation theologians come from different backgrounds and historical backgrounds, but in general they are linked to the needs of the community and focus on the transformation of social beings. However, when people think that evangelical and liberating theology is their core, and where they come from, their similarity exists in what their core is.

Evangelicals often attack James Con's extreme theological position in the creation of black liberation theology, but they must first recognize the extreme positions of what they call "white theology" . Of course, the evangelical church is not single. Importantly, evangelical churches have done mainstream liberal theologians to theology in the practice of the church. Roger Olson defines the liberal theology as "a way to maximize the perception of modernity and rebuild the doctrine that rejects absolute authority that transcends itself" (p. 105). Evangelical readers do the same thing only through service rather than doctrine.
