"Cathedral" is a short story about inspiration, to find something more meaningful and deeper within myself. From the observation point of view, nothing more happened in the story, but then the blind man helped the narrator to draw the cathedral. It is well known, but the experience of the narrator is completely different from the actual "observation" experience. He opened a new world full of enlightenment and vision and imagination. This short experience will have a lifelong impact on him. The theme of the cathedral is to identify the differences that can be seen and watched and to be able to draw through the main character of the story. Carver has a unique way of writing short stories, making it a simple way for readers to understand the theme of the story. This story is about how the talker can not see how life is giving him and about blindness and his wife's friend finds it. In my opinion, the cathedral reflects us, society, and of course many people, so it is a moving story. It shows how important it is to provide more content to people.

At my MFA writing workshop, I read the story of Raymond Carver "Cathedral". If I am generous, I will explain that this short story is well designed and funny, and it does. To be honest, the "cathedral" is a story, the main character accusing his wife, throwing some of his psychology, acting roughly, slapping another man and his wife's friendship, and public To be rude and horrible blind friends. This story is full of misogyny and skills, and if it tries to criticize this behavior, this is not necessarily a bad story. But I think this story is very shallow, the reader is asked to buy a hero at the end of the story.

The cathedral is a short story by Raymond Carver. This story forms a sarcastic situation in which the blind man teaches the foresightful person to "see" truly for the first time. Near the end of the story, Carver drew two characters together in the cathedral's picture as a symbolic nucleus of the story. In the story "Royal Cathedral" written by Raymond Carver, it seems that the stereotype of the blind man forms obstacles between the blind and sight. A man in the story is always misunderstood by "blinds" from "movie" (Carver 1). The title "Cathedral" is important as it helps men to imagine the life of Robert. As blind Robert entered his life, it was difficult for men to form a relationship with Robert due to his visual impairment. The man also created a picture of what Robert looks like in his mind and how he acts. This is because this man has never interacted with the blinds and has come up with Robert's preconceived idea.
