Millions of animals are consumed everyday; humans are doing massacres of large animals, but animal carnage has changed the climate. The article "Predatory carnivore dilemma" by lawyer and livestock breeder Nicolette Hahn Niman claims that food production, most importantly beef production is a global contributor to climate change. Nicolette Niman has a report from the United Nations and the University of Chicago and a report on "blaming the meat", and it also said that beef production is closely related to global warming.
"It is repulsive that bothers me, but it is unpleasant that cows have problems in the environment itself, the best thing we can do is stop beef," Hahn "Said Niemann. Over the years, Hahn Niemann was Environmental Nonprofit Water Alliance's environmental lawyer. As part of this position, her mission was to study the environmental impact on the livestock water system including beef. She saw scientific research and traveled to a farm nationwide, and after basing her farm management she basically walked the bull rabbit hole for two years. Her work finally reached the peak in the book "Brazilian beef". Vegetarian Hanhn Niman became a rancher after marrying Bill Niman, a famous founder of Niman Ranch (now owned by Perdue).
"The food system and its impact on the environment is huge," Hahn Niemann says. "In the United States, we know that the main cause of water pollution is agriculture, there are a lot of data suggesting that the food department contributes to climate change in various ways." For example, in healthy soil, less synthetic fertilizer is needed. These synthetic fertilizers make a big contribution to the annual dead zone of the Gulf of Mexico. In healthy soil, various grazing methods are necessary to move cows from one area to another. Research has shown that adoption of this approach will make the land itself healthier.
