Voice of a British author of the middle "The Lies of the Land" When I read Hayden Middleton's "Land of Lies", I heard not only the writer's voice but also the British writer's voice. Several words and phrases indicate that the text is obviously not American. But when I was accustomed to the writer's voice, my talking sense got less and less, I just intervened in the story. When I read the second article, I paid special attention to these differences this time, but I was surprised that there are actually many differences.
Arthur Middleton (1742-1787) - Arthur Middleton was elected to succeed the more conservative father at the Continental Congress in 1776, but he attended most conferences. He was caught by British and was held in Saint Augustine, Florida for more than a year. During his imprisonment, the UK destroyed most of his property. On 29th April 2011, Prince William of the Duke of Cambridge married civilian Catherine ("Kate") Middleton in London, England. This is not unprecedented, but the British royal family rarely marries civilians. Kate Middleton has a middle class growing experience. Her father is the former flight dispatcher and her mother is the former flight attendant. Kate and William met when they were students of St Andrews University in Scotland (Kohler 2010). The British monarchy rose to the Middle Ages. The social hierarchy places the royal family on the top floor and the general citizens on the first floor. This is usually a closed system in which people are born in the aristocratic position. This law stipulates that all property is handed over to the eldest son. If the family does not have a son, the land will be the next closest male relationship. Women can not inherit property, their social status is mainly determined by marriage.
