The British Colonies in the New World Essay

Some historians try to examine important points in history and find out the cause. The above statements apply to the American Revolutionary War because there are countless books on American colonial decisions to declare independence from the UK. Woody Holden and Bernard Bellin are two historians who investigated this issue and made two independent decisions about the revolution. Focusing on the fears and threats felt by settlers, Bailly sees the British as a threat to settlers and Holden attacks colonial people.

Then there is the word power, "content rich" (Bailyn 56). Bilin believes that understanding of this term by colonists is "control of someone else, control of human life, ultimately power, compulsion" (Billy 56). Power is not necessarily evil loneliness. But when power combines with human intentions, it becomes evil. The association between these terms is that freedom is the victim of power as "aggressiveness of power is its natural prey, its necessary victims, freedom, laws or rights" (Bailyn 57). Therefore, these two can not be mixed. If a person craves for freedom, he can not express power at the same time. Because the existence of power denies freedom.

The concept of power and freedom is in the American revolution of Holden founder and Bering. However, these terms are used in Bilin 's books and are also included in Holton. As regards to Billy 's explanation, settlers worried that Britain would demand power as Britain interfered with their interests. The settlers believed that the UK was destroyed by the need for personal power. Colonial freedom was threatened with corruption charges because of conflicts of interest between colonial freedom and colonization and the UK. You may think that the British colonies of the New World are all the same. But that is not the case. Colonies are all in the UK, but there are some similarities, but there are mainly differences. Colonies in the south, New England, and the central part clearly show these similarities and differences, especially in relation to land, labor force, religion, indigenous peoples.
