The most fierce battle of Okinawa war (code name Iceberg strategy) proved to be the most deadly battle in the Pacific region of World War II. The battle involved six countries and over 180,000 victims. It was the last fight in the Pacific and changed the flow of history. I have not heard of Okinawa before I started RY. I am reading the memoir of World War II, and I was fascinated by the battle of Okinawa and eventually became the most blood fight of the Pacific Theater. When I searched easily with Google, I noticed that Okinawa is also known as Hawaii in Japan as well as the monument that I want to visit. Since the first RY group, Kaizen is the first RY team to include Kyoto in its itinerary. After the nine groups, RY decided to hit it again and write it in our magical undecided month in October. Considering all the issues of this month, I think it is best to use Kyoto as a base for five weeks.
