J. D. Salinger's "The Catcher in the Rye" is a novel about a 16 year old man, Holden Colefield. When Holden learned that he would be kicked out of the fourth boarding school, his life was reversed due to the lack of academic success. The story that Holden himself told began a few days ago to prepare to go home on Pencey Prep's Christmas holidays. He argued with the roommate Stradlater and left him four days ago. He did not speak to his parents, and he conveyed his bad news so he has no place to go.
