The Best Mistake Our World Has Ever Made: The Industrial Revolution

When I was sitting here, I heard a train running in the distance. This type of transportation is a wonderful way to help many people. Without our amazing inventions, shipping goods and pedestrians to your destination will not be as effective and effective as it is now. The train comes from a specific occupation or workplace in our town. Our coal mine brings coal into our train and sends it to our factory. Our wonderful factory can grow, take up space and become unhealthy.

Today, we live in an entirely different world as an ancestor. But our biology is still exactly the same. Only 10,000 years ago, the agricultural revolution changed hunters into farmers. Only two hundred years ago, the Industrial Revolution changed farmers into office workers. Evolution has no time to reprogram our hardwired. Today, our brains are still plagued by hunter feeding system. The obvious example is the reason we eat high calorie food. If a hunter before agriculture eats trees full of figs, she will try to bit it. Her brain releases dopamine when it tastes sugar. She had no choice but to eat the last delicious figs on the tree. Her brain instructions are totally meaningful in her poor world. It may take several days to find other food sources

Even if one day our well-trained digital brain took over our world, I would not be surprised. As in the old days of the industrial revolution, workers were replaced by machines. It can not be denied that the revolution led to unemployment and destroyed the handmade product market. However, we can not deny that the overall level of living standards and quality at that time has greatly improved. Like old proverbs, each coin has two sides. In my opinion, worry is unnecessary. In fact, people feel uneasy because they only think about themselves. Time will not stop, so we have our knowledge. If you can not keep up with the rhythm and you can not pursue a better self, you are excluded. Just like past workers, if you do not learn how to use that machine, you will lose your job. This is our jungle law

In my opinion, the positive factor of the industrial revolution exceeds the negative factor. The Industrial Revolution brought everything we have today. Everything we use in daily life is caused by the manufacturing industry. Without things like the industrial revolution, how can we put a person on the moon? Of course, the negative impact is very cruel, but fortunately we can organize most of the things. The Industrial Revolution has opened the door to manufacturing and industrialization everywhere, and that is the way our economy is today.
