Best holiday - original writing May 17, 2003, I went to Bangladesh. The reason for my trip was my uncle 's wedding. The day I left was unexpectedly dull and cold. I am excited because this time is the first trip to Bangladesh. My destination is about 10 hours by car from Bangladesh International Airport, so this trip is expected to take 25 hours, my uncle intends to pick me up at the airport.

Every culture people celebrate the holidays. The word "holiday" literally means "holy day", but most American holidays are not religious, it is a celebration of its nature and origin. Because that country has a rich ethnic tradition, it is possible to trace several American holidays to different cultural sources and traditions, but all holidays have a peculiar flavor of America. In the United States, the word "holiday" is synonymous with "celebration". Strictly speaking, there are no federal (national) holidays in the United States. Each of the fifty states has jurisdiction over their vacation. But, in fact, most states will comply with federal ("legal" or "public") holidays, even though the President and Congress legally can assign holidays to federal employees.

Of course, the tradition of contemporary festivals should be similar to the first rituals about these festivals and it may be ridiculous. In modern times, holidays enable comprehensiveness and more secularism in society. Halloween is not just to help a heathen to ignite a bonfire to defend against evil spirits. Centuries since then, many people say that the same emotions still exist based on these holidays. The common theme of family, unity, appreciation still exists in the way to celebrate today's holiday, but it is often confused by excessive commercialization.
