The Beginning of the Civil War: The Battle of Fort Sumter

When Anderson refused, Bohlegard fired on the fortress on April 12 the next morning. There are about 6,000 men around the fort, but only 500 are presumed to be part of the attack (battle). The rest of the soldiers formed a blockade at the harbor, preventing the reinforced boat from entering and helping. Due to lack of supply, including ammunition, Anderson did not allow his soldiers to counterattack within 2 hours of the start of the attack. Anderson's second appointment captain, Abner Doubleday, received the citizen's first command.

Fort Sumter is an island fortress located in Port Charleston, South Carolina. Originally built in 1829, Sumter Fortress is the Coast Guard, the most prominent being the first shot of the Civil War (1861-65). In December 1860, Major Robert Anderson in the United States occupied the unfinished fort as South Carolina was separated from the Union and began to face a confrontation with the state militia. When President Abraham Lincoln announced plans to replenish the fort, the Allied Forces P.G.T. Beauregard bombed Fort Sumter on April 12, 1861. After 34 hours artillery exchange, Anderson and 86 soldiers surrendered to the fortress on 13th April. The Navy occupied Fort Sumter for about four years after that and resisted several bombing by Allied forces before giving up. 1861: Within weeks of the inauguration of Abraham Lincoln, the civil war began with the bombardment of Fort Sumter. Six states leave the league, joining South Carolina to form an alliance of the United States (later four other states joined), Jefferson Davis was elected president. The first big fight of the war in Burlin or Manassas in Virginia was a federation victory. 1863: President Lincoln announced the liberation declaration on 1 January and released all the slaves in the southern region. Therefore, in Gettysburg, Vicksburg, and Chattanooga, a year has passed to reach the turning point of the civil war and we have achieved a definite alliance victory. Since then the Navy has been defending almost forever. It is not victory but to avoid failure.

During the first few months of 1861, the federal government was in charge of the federal fort and in April the South troops bombed in Charleston, North Carolina to occupy Fort Sumter. This is the beginning of the civil war. The north soon returned to recapture Fort Sumter and other forts; Lincoln convened 75,000 volunteers. The following month, four more states, Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia joined the federal. League's capital relocated to Richmond, Virginia
