The battle of Anzio in the 1940s was an era of great conflict between America and Europe. It came to World War II that began on June 14, 1940. And the German army was sent to France to occupy Paris (Nash 500). Before the United States entered World War II, there were many conflicts in various parts of Europe, such as the accession of the German Army (Nash 501 - 502). The main cause of these conflicts is Adolf Hitler's name. Hitler is a person who wants power, and he has a motive to become a political leader (Nash 492).

This, of course, among my father's generation, is of course a universal belief. Papa served as a paratrooping unit in World War II, arrested in the battle of Anzio and was robbed of 18 months at the German POW camp. He put all his experiences into it until he was in his 80's. A consultant from the Veterans Affairs Bureau told me that my father had one of the most serious cases of post traumatic stress disorder seen by a counselor.

Frederick praised soldiers of the first special forces. For example, at the location along the coast of Anzio, the night patrol entered the German minefield and was shot down by the machine gun. Colonel Frederick joined the battle and the crew who gave out the trash helped clear up the injured members. German prisoners are often surprised that the strength of this unit is actually very small. The lieutenant of Germany who was arrested acknowledged that the troops belonged to the division. In fact, General Frederick ordered several trucks to move within the range of force in order to give the enemy the impression that the number of units is greater than the actual number. Another prisoner said the Anzio Germans "fight the Canadian-American elite, they are dangerous, ruthless and intellectual, you can not relax.

In Anzio, the Germans called the first special forces "devil's journey." They are called "black" demons, as brigade members have painted their faces with black boots so they can do secret maneuvers in the dark. During the period in Anzio, the first SSF conducted a 99-day battle without any assurance. Also, in Anzio, the first SSF used their trademark sticker; during a night patrol the soldier would carry a unit patch and a sticker depicting a slogan written in German. It is translated as "the worst future". In fact, the literal translation is "a thick end is approaching", I guess that a greater force is coming and stick these stickers to the body and fortress of Germany. The lost members of Canadian and American special forces are buried in Commonwealth Anzio war cemetery located in the east of Anzio and American cemetery.
