The Battle at the Alamo

The Alamo fight was one of the most important events in the Texas Revolution and was one of the most important events in Mexico and the history of the United States. For Americans living in Texas, Alamo is a small revolutionary ideal adventure; the country should be able to democratically express how they feel about their home-country governance. The battle of Alamo and its scream "Memory of Alamo" is internationally recognized. This battle is part of the myth of Texas creation and was created by the modern Texans of the Texas Revolution. Therefore, although the birth of Texas is closely related to Alamo, the identity of "Texas" is a common controversial memory of Alamo. Facts are often forgotten when events become legends. This is the case of Alamo's legendary battle. The rebellious Texans occupied San Antonio de Bequisar in December 1835 and strengthened Alamo in the center of the town in a former task similar to a fortress. Santa Ana of Mexico appeared at the head of the army and besieged Alamo. He attacked on March 6, 1836 in less than 2 hours, breaking through about 200 defenders. The defender could not survive.
