The Basic Evils of Slavery in Narrative of the Life by Frederick Douglass

Human beings, regardless of race, have the right to life, liberty and happiness, among which there is pursuit of knowledge. It is inhumane. Through this state, a person is formed into a slave without thinking, and there is no other idea than to serve his master. As stated in the Declaration of Independence, the denial of intellectual property rights and the pursuit of intellectual property rights are themselves incorrect.
