The Banana Plant

Bananas are fruits of the genus Musa, used primarily for food cultivation, and then used for fiber production. There are nearly 1000 kinds of bananas in the world, and it is said to be divided into 50 groups (Bora, 2007). The most common bananas are seedless Cavendish species, which are produced and consumed in the export market. Bananas are herbal fruits related to orchids most commonly found in tropical climates, and are exotic products in the cold.

Banana plants are the biggest herbaceous flowering plants. Banana plants are often mistaken for trees. In the banana there is a pseudo-stem (called a pseudostem) made from the bottom of the leaf. This simulated stem grows up to a height of 2 to 8 meters. Each pseudo-stem comes from a bulb. Pseudostrums can produce a lot of bananas. As a result, fake stems were dead and replaced. Most bananas turn yellow as they mature, and sometimes turn red. The unripe banana is green. Actually it grows from a hanging mass of banana flowers, also known as bunches and banana stalks. Fruits grow into rows and hands. There are up to 20 types of fruits in one hand, and there are up to 20 types of fruits in Katayama. The weight of the pile is usually 30 to 50 kg (65 to 110 pounds)

Psyllium bananas are usually cooked and thought to be close to vegetables due to their low quality; beta carotene concentrations are higher than most sweet bananas.
