Kenneth Eble said, "... she promised to state the truth about the luxurious life of a woman" (2). Just talking about Kate Chopin, this sentence emphasizes the conflict between Chopin and society. She uses her writing as a technique to indirectly explain her life through her role of characterizing her story. Kate Chopin was one of contemporary writers of her era and his novels focused on common social issues related to women. Her era consists of other female writers focusing on the same central theme of this era.

Awakening Kate Chopin is a fictional story depicting the physical and mental awakening of the main character Edna Ponterie. "Awakening" which was written and published at the end of the 19th century became controversial and became a clear work of time and writer. The only novel written by Chopin uses tools of various themes and stories to explore the hearts of Victorian women. One way Chopin leads the reader is to use symbols such as sea, music, birds, but probably the most convincing and intense theme, as birds seem to be cited most frequently.

Isolated theme in "Awakening" One of the themes of Kate Chopin's novel "Awakening" is the result of choosing independence rather than integration. Edna Pontellier, the protagonist of the novel, faces this result after going on a self-discovery trip. "As Edna expresses its ability to grow, the number of people who can understand the newly discovered language will decrease," (Word 3). If they are independent, professional women, or they are typical housewives, they cook, clean, watch the children, and take care of their husbands. Is it possible for women of this age to express themselves freely, or what society expects from them? Kate Chopin is a female writer who writes several stories about women and two novels. One of her famous works of art is awakening
