The Art of the Renaissance

Renaissance included Europe as a whole, Italy was the birthplace of sports. Cities such as Florence, Rome and Venezia are very important during this time. Main artists mainly create art among these three. As the center of Italy, Rome has a papal residence and many other important elements. Throughout history, the Roman Catholic Church consistently promoted their ideas. Meanwhile, they used artists and their creativity to promote aspects of the Bible and other beliefs.

When listening to the word "Renaissance" and painting an artistic style, the renaissance style developed in Florence was drawn and it became the mainstream art style of the Renaissance. Between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, Italy was divided into many different city states. The state of each city has its own government, culture, economy and artistic style. During the Renaissance, Italy developed many different styles of art and architecture. For example, Siena is a political alliance of France and holds Gothic style elements in the majority of the Renaissance.

The very notable difference between the Renaissance and the Middle Ages was art. Renaissance artists follow a more classical form of art. They depict mainly the beauty and religion of mankind. Renaissance artists have a deep perspective and produce two dimensional effects. Michelangelo's David is a model of Renaissance art. In the Middle Ages, I painted Gothic art. Gothic architecture features a vaulted room with pointed arches and ribs. This type of depiction is a combination of fine woodwork and stone. Gothic art uses a flying arch and a decorative gable. A good example of the Middle Ages is Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
