I have not seen that I am an enthusiastic fan of the museum, nor have I really appreciated art or the information it conveys. However, I have never been fascinated by the artist's work so far. Through his unique and creative skill, Robert Buelteman proved the immediate beauty of plants and their visual metaphor of human life in his image of "crossing green fuses". Buelteman's "Cortaderia Selloana" means Pampas Grass and pulled my attention as soon as he entered his gallery.

After banker Robert Lehman died in 1969, his foundation donated 2,600 pieces to the museum. This museum in "Robert Lehman Wing" is called "One of the most outstanding private art collections ever gathered in the USA". In order to emphasize the individuality of the Robert Lehman collection, Metropolis housed this collection in a special collection of galleries that evokes the interior of the gorgeously decorated townhouse of Lehman Brothers. Although it was criticized and approved at that time to intentionally separate this collection as an "art museum inside a museum", the collection was regarded as an international coup. Unlike other parts of the big city, the Robert Lehman series does not focus on specific styles and artistic times, but rather reflects the personal interests of Lehman Brothers. Collector Lehman focused on Italian Renaissance painting, especially Sienna School

In the 1960s, Metropolitan Governance expanded to include chairpersons of the Board of Directors for the first time to think about the heritage of the Robert Lehman heritage. For 60 years, Lehman invested a lot of time and cosmopolitanism based on his father's art collection which began in 1911, eventually becoming the first president of the board of the big city of the 1960s . After his death in 1969, the Robert Lehman Foundation donated approximately 3,000 art objects to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This museum in the Robert Lehmann building was opened to the public in 1975 and is mainly managed by the Lehman Foundation. This museum is called "one of the most valuable private art collections in America history".
