The Art Gallery of New South Wales: A Virtual Experience

Many art galleries / museums currently offer well-designed websites. This virtual experience causes many factors that we challenge traditionally how to see art. Serpentine Gallery recently launched Zaha Hadid. It is a virtual reality experience by ZahaHadid Architects and Google Arts & Culture. This is the first VR experience of serpentinite and provides a new way to explore Hadid 's paintings in the gallery. Hadid thinks and creates designs using pictures for new buildings. VR experience allows viewers to explore her journey in a new way. Kald Dawood 's recent Kalimpong exhibition at her Timothy Taylor Gallery also tries to integrate virtual and physical. Dowood combined VR, fabrics, and sculptures to create layered experiences of time and stories for the small town of West Bengal, Kalimpong. The exhibition also tries to show the limits of VR to viewers.

Bronwyn Bancroft was born in Wales in 1958. She is a famous artist and she was one of the first Australian fashion designers invited to exhibit in Paris. She worked as an artist, illustrator and art manager. In 1985, Bancroft set up a store called Designer Aboriginal. And it sells fabrics made by indigenous artists including herself. She is a founding member of Boomalli Native Artists Cooperative. Bancroft's artwork consists of the Australian National Art Museum, the New South Wales Art Museum, and the Western Australian Art Museum. She offers art for more than 20 children 's books, including writer and activist Oodgeroo Noonuccal' s Stradbroke Dreaming, artist and writer Sally Morgan 's books.
