In "Antigone", Ismail said: "For the person in power, transcend is wisdom, not wisdom Her statement acknowledged that people who" hold power "will corrupt it It clearly shows that there is. In human history, there are connections between overwhelming and corrupt people. Webster's dictionary defines corruption as "loss of integrity, virtue, moral principle". Antigone's tragic hero Kryon's story shows all common points of corruption.
At first glance, Oydipus and Cryon are two very different people. But as time goes on, their character and even fate are more and more alike. In Sophocles' play "King Oedipus", Oydipus and Crion are completely opposite people. Oedipus is arrogant and a rash, Kryon is wise and cautious. In "Oedipus the King", Oedipus effectively painted the idea of a classic "defective hero". He became arrogant and arrogant. He accused he of having betrayed Creon and Tiresias. But badly, Oedipus opposed God. This led him to severely punish him. Kryon is the opposite of Oedipus. I think before he acts. Kryon is wise and loyal. However, in another performance by Sophocles called "Antigone", he experienced intense personality change. He became more and more like Oedipus. Kryon acted arrogantly, humiliated him by killing people for no reason. At first, Oydipus and Clion seem to be totally different people.
Kryon and Oedipus are clearly very similar. They all stand up in opportunity and the environment, they all fall for arrogance and arrogance. Kryon was originally a very different person from Oedipus. However, after becoming a king, he quickly became almost the same person as Oedipus. His rash is indifferent, without thinking. This led to his downfall, led to Oedipus
Oedipus and Clion are similar in another respect. They all acted sneaky and mean. For shameless and meaningless reasons, both opposed God. Oedipus insulted Tyrelias and caused arrogance. He accused Tyrelias "betray us and destroy the taser" (177). Tillerias is a prophet of the gods. He just told Oedipus what he saw. Refusing to convey secrets to Oedipus by Tyias only leads to more insults and humiliation. Oedipus called him "the shit of the earth" (178). Oedipus was angry with his prophecy, accusing him "to dislike conspiracy" (178). Oedipus suspected that Tillerias had taken a bribe. He said: "It is not your trade in your prophets that prepared this for you" (179). Anxiety of Oedipus accused him of being corrupt and fraudulent, accusing Tyrrhian, the prophet of God and the sensible prophet. This is obviously an insult to God, leading to his downfall. Kryon himself showed greater arrogance. (82). Just like Oedipus
