The Argument Culture

There is definitely some story about the debate on any night watching the news. Normally, each issue has two aspects, and both sides seem to be unable to compromise. However, the media will also review several non-controversial stories several times. This mix represents the various ways we observe the world. Although there is no doubt that Deborah Tannen 's assertion culture mentioned in the "Culture of Discussion" exists, it is not yet a strict confrontation but is resisted by a clear interest in good and compromise.

In Deborah Tannen's article "Culture of Controversy," she points out that controversy and controversy "urge us to approach the world and its people within the framework of our conflict." The culture of discussion depends on the assumption that the opposition is the best way to accomplish something. Thannen believes that society needs to be more marital in order to find a more constructive way to solve conflict, rather than discussing any opinion differences caused by chance, using the spouses' metaphor . . Tannen sometimes needs to protect himself from aggressive ideas, but I believe that it is morally inaccurate to deal with problems in an adversarial way without any reason.

I saw only two sides. Therefore, I will question the credibility of Dr. Tannen in her book "Controversial Culture". Tannen successfully demonstrated this attitude in our culture, but her discussion and writing style forced people to conclude that there is a lack of personal reliability.
