The main argument in American history was the ratification of the Constitution from 1787 to 1788. People who support the Constitution and the powerful State Republic are known as Federalists. People who oppose the ratification of the Constitution to support small municipalities are called anti-Federalists. Both Federalists and anti-Federalists are concerned about maintaining freedom, but we do not agree that the powerful central government will protect or ultimately destroy American civil liberties. Today, it is easy to accept that the ubiquitous aspect is correct and if you are still alive, you certainly will support the ratification of the Constitution. However, to gain a deeper understanding of the ideological foundation established by our government, it is important to analyze the claims of federalists and anti-federals.
