The American Imperialism

After the end of the civil war, the United States got a turning point to solidify its position as the world power. Since the latter half of the nineteenth century, when America began to gather power through Cuba, Hawaii, and the Philippines, historians discussed American imperialism and its behavior. Historians such as William A. Williams, Arthur Schlesinger and Steven Kinzer advocate their vision and how the United States should focus on economic, power, and racial superiority I have done it. Economics has become an important element in US imperialism, but more specifically, the expansion of overseas markets is an important part of US economic growth.

The theme I learned through group activities was 'the dawn of American imperialism'. The dawn of American imperialism is the era of expansion, the era of war and racism.
