"Alchemist" The vision symbolism analysis of Paul Coello's "Alchemist" tells the story of a young shepherd, Santiago living in the abandoned church of Andalusia town. After encountering, they were deprived of a comfortable and safe lifestyle. He said to his "personal legend" (21). Melchizedek made San Diego one of his money, handed him two stones and read the lesson of aura before turning San Diego into his treasure. During the trip, San Diego met new friends, stealed him three times over and traveled through the vast and unknown Sahara Desert, while attaining an understanding of personal growth and the meaning of life. His journey took him to an oasis ... show more

After being promised with the pyramid guide and a short trip period, he was left alone without money. Seems like a perfect way a few minutes ago, and his treasure is now a mere sky promise. Shortly thereafter, San Diego was exercised for the quartz businessman, hoping to replace his lost money and continue his pursuit. He worked for businessmen for eleven months, during which his personal saga was getting less and less. He acquired this habit and started working hard to replace his flock and return to the past lifestyle. In the meantime, San Diego felt it was an impossible accomplishment to reach the pyramid, claiming "Egypt is now only a distant dream of him", and like a miracle it always goes beyond his scope There is (56). Thus, Coelho shows that Santiago's morale is declining. The more he remains in the crystal store, the more he can regard his treasure as a ghost, not a physical object. The journey of a boy is related not only to fantasies but also to Fatima. He first saw her oasis by the water. They came back the next day and told her that he loved her. From there, he talked about her life as a shepherd, and began searching for treasures. Fatima listened patiently for a month, then finally told Santiago her true feelings about him. I explained that she is a desert woman

In Alchemist, sheep in Santiago symbolizes people who are not seeking personal legends. The best example is at the beginning of the book, San Diego noticed that his sheep "did not decide anything", only related to food and water. By not making a decision, the sheep undertake the role of believers, they follow their own ways and have no incentive to do more. They go out to work everyday, just like ordinary people who are paying their homes. This person does not know what else to do - and does not try to understand - and therefore solves the impossible being. In this sense sheep 's activity is the opposite of San Diego' s way of life, like the behavior of a crystal merchant (especially before San Diego entered his life).

There are many discussions about predicting future signs, symbols, or symbols through alchemists. Santiago is taught to follow the signature as they are information from the soul of the universe. San Diego knows that aura is all in life, whether it is gemstone from the king, teaching alchemist, or wisdom from desert soul. They only need to understand. It is important that San Diego learns from his journey and watch signs during that process. By doing so, he learned how to make a decision making him the ultimate goal of life.
