For several reasons I will use ethnographic analysis to answer this question. It is not quantitative analysis or experiment. First, variables for quantitative analysis must have numbers; statistical methods without numbers can not be used. Possible quantitative variables are the number of people waiting at the airport and the number of people flying that night or the time they have to wait. However, these variables do not tell exactly why people come to the airport, as people do not collect data about their opinions.
On the eve of Thanksgiving, November 24, 1971, a middle-aged man carrying a case with a black cabin brings you to the Flight Counter at Northwest Airlines at Portland International Airport. He called himself "Dan Cooper" and used cash to buy a one way ticket at Flight 305 30 minutes north of Seattle. Cooper boarded an airplane, Boeing 727-100 (US Federal Aviation Administration Registration N 467 US) and took 18 C (one account 18 E, another 15 D) on the back of the cabin. He ordered cigarettes and ordered bourbon and soda. Passengers called his 40s male from a height of 5 feet 10 inches (1.78 meters) to a height of 6 feet 0 inches (1.83 meters). He wore a black light raincoat, a loafer, a dark suit, a neat white collar shirt, a black clip closure necktie and a mother of pearls.
On the eve of Thanksgiving Day, I decided to drive to my daughter from Washington DC to have a Thanksgiving with her at a new Atlanta house. At first I found a special round trip fare of $ 150 so I started flying. But then I thought about my older sister and I thought that some of them may also want to see a new house. The two sisters decided to join with their daughters with me. We will divide the cost of renting a car and gasoline. One week before the trip, one of the sisters was canceled. I borrowed a car, thankfully I can change my reservation to get a smaller, more economical car. I went to Atlanta with my remaining sister and daughter, but the police stopped by speeding. Tickets are $ 150. I am angry with myself and God. After all, God knows my budget is very limited - so now my sister said to me that she will not be paid after the trip.
