This problem quickly reached the climax of the American Civil War that took place on slavery. After the war, Article 13 amendment of the Constitution of the United States abolished slavery in the United States. However, despite the release of slaves, the moral problem of human slavery still exists in the hearts of thousands of Americans.
Mark Twain's novel 'Adventure of Huckleberry Finn' captures the debate about slavery in the 19th century and essentially what kind of morality is 'right'.
