A series of controversies between British and American teams at the London Olympics in 1908 caused a turning point in the modern Olympic Games. At that time the Olympic leaders were worried and regretted, but these differences defined the game from a nationalistic point of view, attracted the love of the fans and set up a template for the future Olympic Games . As Historian Stephen W. Pope and John Nowrow explain: "The 4th Olympic Games became a fight between British and American players, officials and audiences, the 1908 Olympic Games At least) I understand that the Olympic Games in 1908 have simplified the competition and are accepted by American citizens. The movement of De Coubertin can only prosper in this context only
The Olympic Games have a long and rich history dating back to the 8th century BC. In ancient times, the game was held in Olympia's ancient city, Greece. At that time, the Olympics belonged only to the Greeks and their allies. In the 19th century, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) was founded and a modern international game began. Initially, few countries participated in the Olympic Games held every four years. However, as events become more common, more and more countries are represented. Approximately 10,500 participants from 204 countries participated in various events at the 2008 China Summer Olympics (see the official website of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, http://en.beijing2008.cn/ #).
Visiting the Olympic guesthouse is one of my favorite activities for the Olympic fans and event planners. Many are sponsored and operated by the state, others are operated by Olympic sponsors such as Visa and Samsung. These guest houses are operated throughout the game, and thousands of fans are sending daily life to these games. Some fans are aiming to visit each of these houses for experience only. Another important fact is that some of the German and US US team guesthouses are open to the public. These houses are for Olympic team members, their families and friends, and for VIP. Other houses such as Canadian Olympic House and year round fans' Heineken beer house are open to the public but are charged.
