The 1990's College Dissenter

The opponents of the university in the 1990s was there. You may not have seen them at first, but they are all near Syracuse University. You may understand that recyclable coffee cups of their skins can easily be tied to backpacks. They have different names: Velraine, Rambo, Byron, Sherry, Beatnik, Bohemian, Long Hair, Flower Child, Deadhead, but the most known is Hippie. Today, there are new generations of this kind on campuses throughout the country, and those who do not understand their lifestyle have updated their nicknames.

As children in the 1990s, these statistics are difficult to understand. Since I graduated from high school in 1990, when I entered college since I was a child and entered adulthood, I was left behind in the 1980s, including the Soviet Union and the Eastern group. In November 1989 the East German government announced that citizens could freely leave the gate. By October 1990, Germany was reunified. Most Americans have left the fear of Communism behind. Do you remember the Soviet Union and the Communist Eastern group? Do you remember barbed wire, attack dogs, security guards, painful images of dark and gray (literally metaphorical)? According to direct information from Soviet tourists, people have sadness in their eyes. There is little hope for optimistic future, there is no hope for basic staple food. Today, more than half of college students take at least one online course. This is an amazing fact to think that the first modern online course did not exist until the mid-1990s. This is proving to be a difficult paradigm shift for universities, as the infrastructure and resources built in the campus for the first time are designed for students who actually exist. For this reason, we are helping the university to solve the problem of how to use the resources the university has already provided to attract students. This means servicing students while minimizing university costs and process changes. So far, this includes the implementation of an online approach to accessing student services through Ana's smart referral, including consulting, coaching, lighting support.
