In the late 1930s, an organization called House of Non-American Activities Community was formed. The community is made up of American Congressmen to defend Americans from communism and to investigate all allegations of communist activities. In spite of the efforts of these groups, the US is still keenly concerned about the possibility that the Communist Party will catch up with Russia or become a country like Russia.
