The Breast Cancer Social Media (# BCSM) community is a volunteer organization aimed at supporting people affected by breast cancer through a program that provides evidence-based information in a supportive and caring way.

# BCSM began as a conversation on Twitter in 2011 and has grown even more. This is the world of support, guidance and information. We are a diversified group of patients, carers, clinicians, researchers, etc. with the aim of supporting people affected by breast cancer.

# BCSM's mission is to support those affected by breast cancer by using web-based programs and digital-based programs to provide evidence-based information in a supportive and compassionate way .
