Thailand: Prostitution and Brothels

Prostitution in Thailand has become a big problem for centuries. In society, Thailand is known for prosperous brothels. It is almost impossible to rule out brothels as law enforcement officers are receiving the opposite. The conditions of these brothels are inhumane. Most of the victims who came out of them suffered from sexually transmitted diseases, usually HIV. There are many groups of activists working 24 hours a day to help people of all ages and sexes be released from slavery, but brothels are to have their lack of law enforcement and end them I will continue to prosper.

Bangladesh is one of the few countries where prostitution is legal. The second largest prostitute place (brothel) in Bangladesh is the 'Kandapara brothel' in 'Tangail' district. A 200 year old brothel was torn down in 2014. However, some women were born there and they grew up there, so I did not know where to go when they were dismantled. So it was rebuilt with the help of NGOs. These women are weak but powerful, but all money earned through work is treated as "men" as debt. They do not allow them to save money without rights or freedom. A few years later, when these girls were able to pay all the debts of poor families, they were allowed to work as independent sex workers.

Nevada State is the only US jurisdiction that allows legal prostitution. Currently Nevada has eight counties (these are county districts), as of February 2018, Nevada has 21 counties. In Nevada, prostitution other than brothels is illegal. In metropolitan areas such as Las Vegas, Reno, Carson, prostitution is illegal and the majority of the population lives there; over 90% of Nevada citizens live in illegal prostitution counties. Prostitution on Rhode Island was prohibited in 2009. On 3 November, Governor Donald Carcieri signed a bill that criminalizes the purchase and sale of sexual services. From 1980 to 2009, prostitution was legal in Rhode Island. Because illegal acts such as recruitment on the street, prostitution surgery and prostitution are illegal, there is no special rule to define the action and prohibit it.

Sex trade has different views around the world. In Thailand, prostitution is illegal, but the government opposes because brothels have many tourism funding. According to "Is prostitution lawful?" Although Greece and Turkey have legalized prostitution, women must undergo medical examination regularly and register with the government. Prostitution is legal in Denmark unless prostitution is the main source of income. Most prostitutes are undergoing physical or sexual abuse. Physical abuse can give violence to young people and can cause more problems.
