Temptation Cradle: Lady Macbeth

Award-winning novelist JK Rowling once said "Power is my weakness and my temptation." Temptation is what everyone encountered at least once in their lives. There is no doubt that most people deal with it every day. It is hard to deal with temptation to decide whether to succumb to this eternal temptation. Determining how to deal with temptation distinguishes people from fragile persons or tenacious persons. Shakespeare 's Macbeth has thoroughly studied and reconfirmed all aspects of temptation through a game that transcended this age.

In the play "Macbeth", Shakespeare shows the evil temptation of power aspiration. Shakespeare uses letters like Mrs. Macbeth and Mrs. Macbeth to show corruption with higher desire. As Scotland's general and Gramis's barn, Macbeth is nearly superior and has great authority. When the three witches predicted his future, the desire for his power increased, they predicted that he would be Cawdor's Thane and eventually would be the king of Scotland. When the first prognosis came to reality, Macbeth realized the correctness behind the witch's prophecies. His wife, Mrs Macbeth, also found a prophecy. They all know that Macbeth will ultimately be king, but Mrs Macbeth wishes Macbeth to speed up the process by assassinating King Duncan. In order to achieve the excellent plan of the King, Macbeth succeeded in isolating him, but he did not murder him.

But the wizard's prophecy sent a strong temptation to Macbeth 's soul, he could not rule and ultimately succumbed to it. When Macbeth doubted the killing of King Duncan, Mrs. Macbeth asked: "Where would you like to get drunk? (II ii 1) Mrs Macbeth called "hope" in another word of "ambition" or "temptation". For Macbeth, it proves that their ambition and temptation are fatal.

Ambition and temptation are important elements of Macbeth and Macbeth 's decision to kill Duncan. Macbeth has enough self-awareness to recognize the danger of excessive enthusiasm.
