Most of my parents have heard stories about teenagers saying "I am too tired and can sleep without getting up" or "I just want to be alone." Or, "You do not know what I am doing." Unfortunately, parents tend to attribute these comments to their children like daily teens like young people. All teenagers will have normal depression because of a week or so, after that they will return to their normal temperament and will continue to live. Most parents are unaware that more and more teenagers are suffering from clinical depression and such ongoing comments may be a sign of this depression.
The devastating possibility of serious adolescent depression may have long-term sequelae. Depression is increasingly an issue among today's teens. Depression brings many problems that can become self-destructive. However, if young people benefit from early intervention and helps solve his or her depression, the play of life is very different. This question is why depression is common in adolescence. One of the main causes of adolescent depression is extreme trauma. In other words, the young man feels irritated by sexuality, mental or physical abuse. In addition, losing parents, people they love, or people facing medical illness can also cause trauma. An example of a traumatic case in which a teenage girl lost her father in a motorcycle accident, which caused her pain and eventually felt frustrated (Kelly, 2011). Another example is that two teenage brothers lost their mothers in a traffic accident and lost their father in another car accident six months later. This is a traumatic disease that causes depression in the two adolescents. In addition, their relatives said that both brothers had depression for more than 6 months (Alleman, 2012). These examples show how traumatic events can cause depression in adolescents.
Depression in adolescence is increasing rapidly and is often treated erroneously. This is a big problem as depression has a fatal effect on adolescence. According to the National Association for Mental Disorders Depression is a 20% experience of adolescence. Thousands of young people commit suicide every year. Different causes of depression can also lead to devastating consequences that may affect pubertal lives. Everyone rarely feels irritated, but depression is a certain emotion and is considered a mental disorder. There are mainly two different forms of depression. Serious depression may affect the normal function of a person. For example, it also affects the ability to sleep, eat, and enjoy happy events, so it also affects the daily lives of individuals. In addition, mild depression lasts for at least 2 weeks, not persistent.
