Technology taking over Parenting

The technology of the world today is progressing more than ever. Due to the adoption of new technology, child rearing in some families became easier and harder. Some families do not have funds for new growth in the technology world, others have everything they imagine. Amitai Etzioni is a professor at George Washington University. He wrote 19 books including an article named 'High-tech parenting'. It was published in The American Enterprise in January 1998. Etzioni wrote that the parent-child relationship will be a virtual relationship.

Technology appeared in all my meetings. A teenager experienced splitting by text message. My parents are worried that the children are playing in Minecraft. Some infants have technology as parents everyday. Would you take your child to mobile phone? Should the iPad be a tool to help them read? My generation has not grown this way, and I am looking for answers to how to deal with these situations at all times. I went to the library (real libraries, books!), I surveyed online, but I was surprised that there are few peer-reviewed surveys on how to raise children in the digital age.

In our evolving digital age children are inevitably exposed to various technologies and media devices. In the last three decades, the ability to improve thinking and learning experience for technology has changed dramatically. In addition to playing games and watching movies on parents' mobile devices, the classroom is now the first place for children to use technology. Today, children are able to use their personal mobile devices or laptops at school because they are often supported by online learning tools integrated into the school network. This is a painting which seems not to be realizable and even attractive even 15 years ago.
