When creating new technology, its value is reflected in that technology. When technology is adopted on a large scale, the value embedded in technology may penetrate society and affect the way society is formed. Distributed computing may reorient the power of society, but block chaining technology should be mainstreamed in order to achieve this power transfer. An important issue confronting the mainstream adoption of contracts like Ethereum is security breaches facing smart contracts.
