Teaching to Different Modes of Learning

In the autumn of 1999, teaching various learning methods, I taught advanced courses on animal behavior. One of them was a blind woman. So far, I have never taught disabled students, especially visually impaired people. Most biology courses are visual, based on numerous charts, graphs, and charts to illustrate key concepts. The department of animal behavior is no exception. Most of the information provided in the lecture is in the form of pictures and charts, and almost all specified readings include charts containing additional data or data or charting processes.

For example, when teaching concepts, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic / tactile patterns can be presented simultaneously or sequentially in lessons or in several courses.

Teachers have different educational styles so that students have different learning preferences for visual, auditory or kinematic / tactile patterns. Students can benefit from teachers who teach in different ways, as it can help them become multipurpose learners, work with different people and communicate. For students who like to learn in a particular environment, diversity is a challenge. However, learning to identify different teaching methods can help students succeed even if they adapt to them. When the teacher ceases to jump into "matching learning style", they also stop marking the students as different types. Our brain has two learning modes. Focus mode and diffuse mode. Focus mode includes conscious learning, such as intentional sitting to learn and practice subjects. This pattern is concentrated in our prefrontal cortex, where the brains of the same area make decisions and we are responsible for controlling our attention. By contrast, diffuse reflection mode includes unconscious learning. In this mode, multiple areas of the brain work together. It does not include intentional exercises, but it can be thought of as a program that runs in the background.
