University of Vermont: The Center for Education and Learning is outside of Vermont College and offers various educational resources for teachers and professors. The Teaching Center website has links to information on the design of syllabus and online course courses. University of Pennsylvania: The Center for Education and Learning is located in the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On their website there is a chapter on educational practice and strategy, and educational resources. The "Practice and Strategy of Education" section contains literature, articles and other readings on comprehensive guidance and effective educational practices. This site also provides information on how to write a clear syllabus and also shows examples of sentence prompts that you can use to write classroom policies in the syllabus. This description appears in the syllabus of the introductory sociology course. This syllabus is part of a sample syllabus for the Education and Resource Innovation Library of the American Sociological Association (TRAILS). It has also appeared in the wonderful analysis of 39 syllabuses extracted from the TRAILS series. It reminds me of one of my classes, perhaps the event that happened in the late 1980s. This is a novice course of communication. I do not remember the theme of the day, but I remember that the students suddenly made racial remarks regardless of discussion. I feel silent during the lesson or at least I do not seem quite silent. There are no plans; I have not thought about the situation just started.
