Reflective teaching is one of the steps to raise teacher's professionalism. Therefore, the teacher must think carefully about their teaching. We know that introspective guidance has advantages over disadvantages. Therefore, it is better for the teacher to consider the advantages over disadvantages. Teachers can reflect their teaching methods using tools such as teacher journals, peer observations, student feedback, audio and / or video. In fact, there are advantages and disadvantages, so it does not matter what tool the teacher uses to reflect her educational practice. It would be better if the teacher could combine the use of these tools and make his / her educational practice more effective. In addition, there are several studies on introspective education that measures teacher's introspection level, ponders teacher usage, finds a positive role of internal teacher.

Reflective guidance is an example of world leading teacher education and most professional development programs use it as a way to improve teacher practice. As a teacher educator, I recognized the importance of reflective teaching (RT) for professional development of teachers. In this article I reported on the experience of two current teachers of English who took part in the professional development course at Bogota's public university and they started the introspectional education process through the development of introspective thinking skills. We gathered data through interviews, observations, videos, questionnaires and diaries. The results of the survey show some of the attitudes of teachers to referrals, factors that stimulate and reduce contemplation, and some of the changes observed in teaching practice.
