I like to teach character analysis! I like paying close attention to interesting characters and trying to find out what they carve. According to my experience, children like this process too. Unfortunately for many children it is a bit tricky to understand personality traits. Here are three big pitfalls and a way to deal with them! One of the biggest problems is the vocabulary. Most children are familiar with basic emotions such as sorrow, happiness, and madness. However, the words explaining the characteristics of consideration, motivation, selfishness, etc. are often new or only partially understood. Create vocabulary by including rich discussion about multiple readings and roles. Please list these features in anchor maps or notebooks, explain the different characteristics and use the vocabulary as much as possible for everyday classroom use. Any book with a strong character can be used to teach characteristics, but here I will learn some of my favorite books / authors.

Role analysis is when evaluating character characteristics, its role in the story, and the conflicts they experience. If you are asked to complete the role analysis, try to remind clues the author has about its characteristics. Did they explain their physical characteristics? Authors also reveal behavior, motivation, personality type, and personality traits that are relationships with others through stories. Do not forget to evaluate their role in the story; are they the heroes, are they the hero who is usually experiencing a collision, do they play the opposing power in the story? Finally, please look at the confrontation. It is a motivation to inspire and change the main character.

When creating a role analysis, you also need to define the role of each role. By specifying the type and personality character of the character, you can better understand the role the character plays in the story. They play an important role as a central element of the story or play a secondary role to support the leading role of the story. When you are asked to write a personality analysis, you need to explain how the personality changes and grows. As the story began to spread, in most cases, most major characters achieved significant growth as a direct result of dealing with a particular conflict. When you read, be careful as to which key roles will be strong, disjoint, build new relationships or discover your own new aspects. Please write down the scene where the change of the character became obvious. The clues include phrases such as "She suddenly noticed ..." and "First time, he ...".
