At the age of 16, Dr. Radhakrishnan married a distant cousin Sivakamu. There are five daughters and one son, Sarvepalli Gopal, in the couple.
In 1936, H. N. Spalding gave a lecture on Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan in London and he chaired the eastern religion and ethics of Oxford. The chairman was offered to Dr. Radhakrishnan.
Dr. Radhakrishnan formed a Krishnarpan charitable trust with Ghanshyam Das Birla and other social workers before the independence era.
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was nominated 27 times for the Nobel Prize for literature, 16 times for the Nobel Prize for literature and 11 times for the Nobel Peace Prize, respectively.
In 1931 he was appointed a knight of the Order and in 1938 he was a selected researcher of the British Academy.
Oxford University received the German Book Trade Peace Prize in 1961 and received the Templeton Prize several months before his death.
In commemoration of Dr. Rada Krishnan, Ladakrishnan Pension Scholarship and Oxford University Rada Krishnan Memorial Award were established.
In 1962 when Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan became President of India, the celebration of the first teacher's day in India dates back. To celebrate his respected position, his student suggested celebrating his birthday as "Radhakrishnan Day". However, Dr. Rada Krishnan refused, but he suggested, "If September 5 is considered as a teacher's day, it will be my pleasure rather than celebrating my birthday." A group of Telugu living in a small town called Labir Tirutani, he wants him to be a pastor. But there are other plans for fate. With his hard work, he could enter the school of Tirupati and Velor, and he continued to enroll at Madras Christian University to study philosophy.
This day represents the day of appreciation and respect for your selfless devotion to your teacher. This day is also a great teacher, academic philosopher born in 1888 and to commemorate Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the second President of India.
