Teacher-Class Interaction in a CLIL Lesson: Developing Verbal and Non-verbal Skills

Background At first, this research was conducted at Monsenyor Gibert elementary school of SantFruitós de Bages (Bages). This is a two-year entrance public school for students from pre-school to primary school from 3 to 12 years old. In addition, they lack the CLIL program, but English teachers use weekly books on different topics for all courses. Therefore, children can get some vocabulary about other subjects in foreign languages. The arts and crafts course is conceived as 21 students of elementary school sixth graders.

As a high school, primary school, special education teacher, I have used these programs with my children. For nonverbal children, you can use image prompts for exercises to write stories. Prepare a few images related to each question and let the children show the most appropriate image for the story they are talking to. My students used beginner course # 2. This student is a beginner, I have written only one story before. I am amazed at his imagination and creativity. If you do not have time to explain, explain and print a copy of the student's story so you can bring it back and create your own library.

Social skills are the skills we use to communicate and communicate with other people every day. These include oral and non-verbal communication such as conversation, gestures, facial expressions, and body language. He has strong social skills if he has knowledge of how a person acts in a social environment and understands the implicit rules written when communicating with other people. Children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), extensive developmental disorders (not specifically designated), and Asperger have problems with social skills.

Autism affects the normal development of the brain in the field of social interaction and communication skills. Children and adults with autism feel difficulties in verbal and non-verbal communication, social interaction, leisure or entertainment activities. This disease makes it hard for them to connect with the outside world. They are hard to communicate with others. In some cases, it may be aggressive and / or self-injured. They may exhibit repetitive physical movements such as handshakes and shakes, abnormal reactions to humans, affection for objects, and resistance to everyday changes. They may experience sensitivity in five senses: visual, auditory, tactile, taste and olfactory.
