In the 21st century, management is regarded as art and science (Reh, 2010). This is an art and can be more innovative, creative and effective than when people are doing work without using management knowledge. Likewise, management can be viewed as a science of how administrators can manage people and help them more engage and improve efficiency. The administrator here refers to those who are responsible for planning and guiding the work of a group of people, overseeing their work, and taking corrective action as necessary (Robbins, Bergman, Stagg & Coulter, 2008 ).
More than 100 years ago, Frederick Taylor announced the "scientific management principle". This is a major change in the perception of the organization's workers and their organization. At the time of Taylor's announcement administrators thought that workers were lazy, late and inefficient to protect their work. Taylor discovered a revolutionary solution. You may think that the theory before the century has nothing to do in today's fast-paced, technology-driven world. But you are wrong! Indeed, much of what you learned in this course is based on Taylor's work, and many things you will experience in the workplace will thank him. If you are aware of one of the following, you are already looking at his scientific management principle: organization chart, performance evaluation, quality measurement and indicator, and sales and / or production goal.
In the following, we will use McDonald's organization example to detail Taylor 's "scientific management" principles in current organization management practices. We will do this by clarifying how to explicitly apply important aspects of Taylor's scientific management to McDonald's organization management practice. First, we adhere to the five principles summarized by Morgan and verify the existence of these principles. After that, I compare Taylor 's personal incentive plan with McDonald' s reward system.
In this article we analyze the extent to which Taylor's "scientific management" principle exists in the current organization management practice. So I briefly introduced the main concepts of Taylor and outlined important points of criticism. I then investigated the situation of modern organizations and carefully investigated McDonald 's organization. Later, I discussed the possible reasons for Taylor 's contemporary company. According to the report, the principles of Taylor still remain largely applicable to current organization management practices. In addition to implementing the principles of "scientific management" at the organization of McDonald's, find countless implementations and modifications of Taylor's ideas in every field of management practice, whether in a management intervention program or a complex evaluation center can do.
